  • Chris’s 228-yard game against the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2009 broke the team record held jointly by Billy Cannon and George. Chris also set a team record with a 91-yard touchdown run and gained 284 yards from scrimmage against the Houston Texans.
  • Against the Buffalo Bills in 2009, Chris became the second player in team history to gain 100 yards rushing and receiving in the same game. Billy Cannon was the first, in 1961.
  • Chris was selected for the 2009 Pro Bowl behind starter Thomas Jones of the New York Jets.
  • Chris earned a degree in Communications at ECU.
  • Chris’s time in the 40-yard dash was the fastest ever for a running back at an NFL combine. Deion Sanders admits that Chris is probably faster on a football field than he was in his prime.
  • When Chris decided he needed a special touchdown celebration, he Twittered Titan fans for suggestions.
  • After scoring a touchdown in Kansas City in 2008, Chris celebrated by banging on drums that belonged to the Chiefs' halftime band. He was fined $10,000 by the NFL for unsportsmanlike conduct.
  • Chris was chosen as the cover boy for Madden Football 2010.
  • One of Chris’s biggest fans in country singer Faith Hill. They ate lunch together once and were frontpage news.
  • Chris’s favorite actor is Denzel Washington. His favorite rapper is Lil Wayne. His pride and joy is a refurbished 1973 Chevy Caprice. He also drives a pink BMW.
