- At the age of 17,
Landon was the third-youngest player to ever be called into a U.S. Men's
National Team training camp (for the USA-Argentina match on June 13,
1999).
- Going into the
2002 MLS season, Landon was one of two San Jose players with his own
Bobblehead Doll. The other was Jeff Agoos.
- Landon earned "Man
of the Match" honors twice during the 2002 Gold Cup.
- Landon signed with
Electronic Arts as spokesperson for FIFA 2002, the companys newest
soccer video game.
- In the fall of
2001, Landons brother, Josh, left for South Carolina to begin
basic training. He hopes to become an Army paratrooper.
- Landon's agent,
Richard Motzkin, also represents U.S. star Freddy Adu.
- Landon has been
romantically linked to actress Bianca Kajlich of UPN's "Rock Me
Baby."
