“I am not trying to compare myself to Peyton.”

“I worried coming in for my freshman year what my teammates would think of me. I was a little scared they would think I was there [at Ole Miss] just because I had a brother who could play, and that I was cocky.”

“Mom runs the family. She’s the kind of person who, without her, we’d be lost. She supports us. I got real close to my mom when my two brothers were in college and Dad was traveling a lot.”

"I think the fans have big expectations.”

“You feel pressure when you’re in a situation where you don’t know what you’re doing.”

“With the game on the line. I want the ball in my hands.”

“There’s a lot of similarities between Peyton and me. Our motion is similar. We both have quick releases and keep the ball up high. Neither of us is extremely fast. We try to have the mental part of the game down to get an advantage.”

“I always looked up to Peyton. He’s my role model. But I’m not going to try to outdo him.”

“I think I’m better-looking than Peyton.”

“I’m not worried about living up to what my dad did or about being as good as my brother. I know I have a lot of work to do and I’ll put in that work. I’m thinking about being the best player I can be.”

“I’ve played in a lot of stadiums in the SEC where I’ve been booed many time before. You’ve just got to laugh it off.”

“I'm just trying to take what the defense gives me.”

“I still have a lot to prove, but I'm a little more comfortable with everything.”

“I figure if I start going crazy and getting wild, it is just going to make everybody else go into a tantrum. And I'm trying to keep everybody calm.”

“You know your goals and what you need to do to get better—just eliminate the bad plays.”

“It's rare to have a best friend who is also your brother and also an NFL football player, and he knows exactly what I'm talking about.”
