• Byron has made Jacksonville his year round home and he is an avid participant in community activities.
• Byron loved video games as a kid, and still does today. His favorite is Madden NFL, though he wishes his likeness could run faster.
• As a high school senior, Byron was named to sportscaster George Michael’s "Golden 11."
• An avid golfer, Byron regularly plays in Ernest Wolford’s and James Harris’ celebrity tournaments.
• Byron graduated from Marshall with a degree in business.
• Byron finished sixth in the voting for Heisman Trophy in 2002.
