  • Brandon’s 123 Ks as a Kentucky junior set a new school record. It held up until 2002, when Joe Blanton broke Brandon’s mark.
  • Brandon amassed 259 strikeouts as a Wildcat to rank third on Kentucky’s all-time list.
  • The 16 consecutive quality starts Brandon made at the start of his career were the most since Steve Rogers in 1973.

  • Brandon married his high school sweetheart, Alicia, in their hometown of Ashland. In 2006, they became parents for the first time with the arrival of daughter Reagan Lucille.
  • Brandon became friends with David Wright at the 2006 All-Star Game. The two first-timers lockered next to each other.
  • In 2005, Brandon established the Brandon Webb K Foundation to benefit at-risk children throughout Arizona by providing assistance, programs, and special events to help them set and achieve life goals. He is also a club spokesman for domestic violence prevention programs.
  • Brandon enjoys sitting in the clubhouse before games playing guitar with fellow pitchers Brandon Medders and Brandon Lyon, and first baseman Conor Jackson.
  • The Diamondback coaches watch Brandon carefully when he‘s on the mound. He is known to telegraph pitches to opposing batters and pickoffs to opposing base runners.
