I want people to think they
cant die until they see me play.
Im
nice because, when I was growing up, so many people werent nice to me,
and I remember how that felt. And I dont want to make anyone else feel
like that. I value nice.
I know when people look
at methe dreads or whateverthey go by this perception, but its
a perception based on TV. You have dreads or a pierced nose and right away
youre a bad person. Im not like that. But I dont mind people
thinking like that. I want to be the example that you cant judge a
book by its cover.
Coaches
want so many things from a back. Its hard to find someone like Edgerrin
James or Marshall Faulk, someone you can trust to block, catch and be physical.
But I can do all those things.
I am more mature. Im
a better football player. I just feel like this is my time.
Ive
looked at great running backs like Barry Sanders and Marcus Allen, and
I know Im special like that. And when I look at all the things
that have prevented me from reaching that level, I know what the biggest
problem
was: Me.
"Football is
my job, not my life, but it's a job I'm going to give my all for as
long as I'm in
it."
"My
helmet is off; I'm not afraid anymore."
